The people at island storage were very kind and courteous. They helped me arrange a storage unit best suited to my needs , it was clean , the grounds are clean and very spacious , they went above and beyond after I moved to main land to assist me with my arrangements with moving company.
They have the best price too , a person would be hard pressed to find a cheaper price for the size of storage unit I had!Directions:
From downtown Coombs, BC:
- Head east on Alberni Hwy/BC-4A E toward Coombs Rd
- In 2.4 km, turn right onto Shearme Rd
- Island Self Storage will be on the left
From Nanaimo, BC:
- Head west on Fitzwilliam St toward Wesley St
- Continue onto Third St
- After 1.9 km, continue onto Jingle Pot Rd
- Turn right onto BC-19 N (signs for Campbell R)
- In 32.6 km, take exit 51 for British Columbia 4 Alternate toward Parksville/Coombs
- Turn left onto Alberni Hwy/BC-4A W (signs for Coombs)
- In 5.3 km, turn left onto Shearme Rd
- Island Self Storage will be on the left
From Parksville, BC:
- Head south on Alberni Hwy/BC-4A W toward Jensen Ave W
- In 6.9 km, turn left onto Shearme Rd

From Qualicum Beach, BC:
- Head east on Harlech Rd toward First Ave W
- Turn right onto Memorial Ave/BC-4 W
